Welcome to Intervention Services

My name is Joe Shoots.  I am an experienced interventionist. I have more than 15 years experience in the drug and alcohol addiction field.  I have been assisting people who have loved ones with addiction problems in many types of clinical settings.  I have worked as a therapist in rehabilitation centers for over 15 years and now work as an out-patient therapist in a private practice.

The intervention process has proved to be more than 90% effective in the years that I have been an interventionist.  I believe it is because I have a firm understanding of the hold that addictions can have on a person because I am a recovering person myself for over 20 years.  Along with my vast experience in the addiction field, my passion is to help others who have addictions the same way I was helped 22 years ago.  If you have a loved one or know someone that needs help with an addiction, I believe I can help.

I am located in Mid-Michigan and am willing to travel outside of the Michigan area.  I am available 7 days a week.  I currently hold the credential of a Certified Advanced Addiction Counselor, and Michigan's Limited License Psychologist.  A Michigan Limited License permits practice under the supervision of a Michigan Licensed Psychologist.
